Classroom, Groups and events

We have recently been able to welcome our first school groups into our classroom and around the grounds. Everyone involved had an enjoyable day learning about our birds and lots of other animals.

We have a few learning packages available for groups. These include:

- Dinosaurs and the evolution of birds

- Life cycles and food chains

- Ecosystems and adaptations

These Learning packages can be tailored to any learning ability.

As well as school/nursery groups we also offer options for other groups.

The classroom can also be hired out as a interesting meeting place for a smaller group. Not everyday you have a meeting while being serenaded by poison dart frogs and stared at by a bearded dragon

Guided tours are available to groups of all sizes. These can last between 40 minutes to 1 hour ish.

Birthday parties can be arranged and tailored to individual needs also.

We are working on outreach programs to be rolled out by the winter. These are a good way to meet and learn about a few animals without the cost of buses or transport. Also great for those groups who have limited mobility or struggle to get out and about.
