Once you're in the grounds, our coffee shop offers an ideal pit stop. Offering a lovely range of options including cakes, traybakes, soup, scones, and sandwiches, there is something for everyone. We bake everything onsite with many ingredients sourced locally or even from our own garden!

Dogs and Pets Policy
Well trained dogs are permitted in the visitor centre and cafe patio but we’re sorry dogs and other pets are not permitted in the Bird Gardens, except for trained assistance dogs. This is to help protect the wellbeing of our wildlife, which can become distressed by their presence.
Trained assistance dogs are very welcome, but they must always remain on a lead and under control. Please make sure to clean up any dog waste.
If your dog’s presence causes any of our birds or animals to become unsettled, we may ask you to move to another area — we appreciate your understanding.
For the safety and comfort of all animals, please do not leave your dog in your car during your visit.

We are proud to have stocked our gift shop with items from talented artists and craftspeople within our local area.
Items sourced from further afield are produced in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.
Our Gardens
Lose yourself in a wander through our gardens and enjoy our varieties of native wild flowers and fruit tree orchards. Our veg patch provides us with fresh food all year round which alongside our orchards provide produce that we use in the coffee shop e.g. homemade jams and apple based cakes.
